European Global Varsity, Rushford Business School and European School of Data Science and Technology in collaboration with Confab 360 Degree, India; NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur; and Royal Global University, Assam, Indian has organized two-days online workshop on Scholarship, Grants, Fellowships, Post-Doctoral Opportunities, Research Funding and Research Proposals on 3rd and 4th July 2024 in online mode. More than 70 participants joined the workshop.
The workshop started with the inaugural on 3rd July 2024. During the inaugural, Dr. Nishu Ayedee, Founder and CMO, Confab 360 Degree; Dr. Kanika Gupta, Chief Academic Officer, Rushford Business School; Dr. Alok Satsangi, Director, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur; and Dr. Aruna Dev Rroy, Associate Dean, The Royal Global School of Commerce were present. Dr. Kanika Gupta emphasized competency development agenda and European Union Grants. She discussed how faculty research can be transformed towards student well-being. She also talked about various funding opportunities available and how to avail themselves of those opportunities.
The first day of the workshop started with an interactive and knowledgeable session by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Varshney, Former Adviser & Head (IC), Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. He discussed the economic, social and scholastic considerations related to scholarships. He also discussed various national and international avenues of post-doctoral opportunities for researchers and academicians. He also discussed the soft loans to study abroad and NEXTSHIP scholarships.
Dr. Sanjeet Singh, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Marwadi University, Gujarat discussed funding and grants for academics under different schemes of DST and other international funding agencies. He discussed the types of research grants and how to avail those grants. He also has given tips for successful grant applications.
Prof. Anuj Kumar, Head of Research, Rushford Business School was the third resource person for the workshop. He discussed the various schemes available under ICSSR for applying the conference grants, seminar grants and collaborative seminar grants. He also showed the page and format for applying the minor and major project grants. He showed the different schemes of AICTE funding to all the participants attending the workshop.
Finally, the workshop came to an end on the second day with a valedictory session on 4th July 2024.
